💡 Background
It is the using of new ideas that lead to the making of any new products, services or processes. That's why it is incredibly important to incentivize and protect the development of new ideas. Intellectual property rights are the rights you have to anything you create as a result of your original ideas. If your ideas and creations have economic value, you will want to protect your intellectual property. But exactly how to protect intellectual property depends on the type of intellectual property. It is not always easy to determine the best way to protect it.
This is a problem that various service providers want to address. In your thesis you should create a market overview of who provides intellectual property protection services for Germany, the EU, and internationally. What are best practices in IP protection in the Creator and Ownership Economy? What services are there, what do they offer, what do they cost and what are key recommendations?
🦾Who We Are
The Chair for Strategy and Organization is focused on research with impact. This means we do not want to repeat old ideas and base our research solely on the research people did 10 years ago. Instead, we currently research topics that will shape the future. We do not want your research to gather dust in some corner of bookshelf but make it accessible to the world. Thus, we warmly encourage you to create some or all of the following:
