Further possibilities

If you would like to further develop the business plan of this prototype, I would like to suggest some options on how to do so:

Create additional social media accounts

→Use the brandname created and post similar type of content. You can then link your accounts and benefit from a double platform

TikTok:

-Similar platform and not to new in the context of adjusting to a new platform (Similar to reels)

-Some content might be able to be shared on both platforms

Youtube:

-Consider that creating youtube content, it takes quite a lot more time and effort to create videos

-But youtube offers big possibilities to monitorize (Through collaborations, ads, etc)

Create a travel blog

→Share your travel experience in a form of a travel blog

→You can link your instagram account and share pictures to the locations you provided (Lively and might gain new followers)

→New monatarizing possibilities: Affiliate links on the blog, ads on the page, etc.

Do streams

-Use streaming platforms: Discord, twitch, etc

-Announce streams to certain topics

-Be creative→ Examples: “Guide on how to make a good travel plan”, “Experiences at XY that I need to share with you”, “I will show you around my favourite secret spot in XY”

Offer tours

-Might be far from the current strategy, but other travel influencers reported positive experiences towards this idea

-Share your local knowledge by offering paid private tours or trips. Showing around, hanging out, being a travel buddy, etc. could be an interesting business model for people that already enjoy your travel content

-Positive sides:

-You are in control of it all, and it’s way less demanding

-No demand for deliverables

-Have fun with people

-Not getting rushed

-Freedom to set own income

-Power to decide who gets business

-Getting people to book trips:

→Can be really hard

Reasons influencer get booked:

-Locations are major bucketlist trips

-Specialising in extreme adventures, World Wonders, and destinations most people would love to go to

-Audience has always been highly engaged with travels

-Many have been following for a while (Trust)

-Ton of positive testimonials and repeat bookings

-Main highlights:

-Put groups of people together who all get along

-How trip is planned

→Example:

In 2022 one influencer increased the number of group trips to almost 15, in countries on all 7 continents, plus a new, limited edition bucketlist offer to go to all 7 continents for $17k (fully booked until 2023)

Offer plans

-You could sell individualised travel plans (Considering interests, timeframe, etc)
