Short Bio:
I am a Research Associate at the Chair for Strategy and Organization at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and a member of the Management Team at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM), where I teach in the Entrepreneurship Laboratory (eLab).
My research is empirical and applied: I study how emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, are evaluated, adopted, and integrated into organizations. One strand of my work is a meta-analysis on the impact of large language models on human work, with a particular focus on the differential impact of LLMs on experts versus laypeople. The second strand consists of the examination of conditions under which human–AI collaboration adds or destroys value. For this the goal is to conduct field experiments on AI implementation in German enterprises, in collaboration with corporate partners. Looking at how AI is adopted, used, and integrated into real organizational workflows, moving the evidence base on enterprise AI from lab and survey settings into operational reality.
Before returning to academia, I spent 4.5 years as a Technology Strategist at Accenture, leading workstreams in M&A technology assessments, data strategy, and large-scale digital transformations across the life sciences, automotive, and manufacturing sectors.
