Bio:
Michelle is a leader in the field of strategic management research. Her research informs managers’ decisions regarding choices of strategic partners and their understanding of how organisational and individual networks affect performance. Michelle’s research has been published in the top management journals, and she is a sought-after keynote speaker and faculty on executive education programmes internationally.
Before joining Oxford, Michelle was a Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship and Academic Director of the MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management at Imperial College Business School. She also served as faculty at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. Michelle was a visiting scholar at the Graduate School of Business of Stanford University.
Michelle holds a PhD in Strategy and International Management from London Business School and a BA in Psychology from Yale. She serves as a Deputy Editor at Organization Science and was formerly an Associate Editor at Management Science. She is on the editorial boards of Strategic Management Journal and Strategy Science.
