💡 Background
demi Technologies is a Munich-based AI startup emerging from the TUM ecosystem.
They are building the first AI Commercial Operating System for industrial SMEs, enabling companies to automate marketing, sales, and strategic operations through artificial intelligence.
The team is currently transitioning from co-development with industry partners to a scalable SaaS product, already used by leading mid-sized companies in the machinery and process industry. demi is now preparing for commercial scale-up and is looking for motivated students to support this next stage.
This project study is an opportunity to work directly with the founding team and shape demi’s go-to-market strategy.
🎯 Goals and project tasks

- Business Development:
- Customer Sourcing:

- Internal Enablement:
Identify potential target markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
Build and qualify leads, support customer interactions, and prepare commercial materials.
Assist with project coordination, support partner activities, and automate workflows (e.g., via Zapier).
Support positioning, go-to-market concepts, and strategic initiatives.
Contribute to internal documentation, sales decks, and operational frameworks.
🎓 Your profile
- Team of 2–4 Bachelor’s or Master’s students
- Strong interest in AI, SaaS, strategy, business development, or industrial SMEs
- Motivation to combine analytical thinking with hands-on execution
- Structured working style and good communication skills
- Curious, entrepreneurial mindset
