Every year, a tidal wave of scientific research is published, yet countless valuable discoveries remain hidden, stifled by inefficient manual processes. This creates significant bottlenecks for university tech transfer offices, corporate R&D, and deep-tech VCs.
Paper Pulse is solving this critical problem. We're developing an AI-powered SaaS platform that systematically analyzes scientific publications to uncover their innovation and commercialization potential. We're a fast-growing enterprise AI startup with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) already in use at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), with strong follow-on interest from LMU and the Hochsprung network (a consortium of 45 Bavarian universities).

π§’ Your Role: Be a Core Contributor to Our Revenue Engine
Weβre seeking an ambitious and commercially-minded student ready to build the foundation of our revenue engine. This is a hands-on role where your contributions will directly impact our success. You will tackle one or more of the following exciting challenges:
- Operationalize the Go-To-Market Strategy: Translate our ambitious business plan into an actionable GTM strategy. This is a prime learning opportunity in strategic planning and execution for early-stage market entry. You'll directly contribute to our approach for primary target segments: University Tech Transfer Offices (TTOs), Corporate R&D departments, and leading VC firms.
- Build the Customer Universe: Develop a comprehensive and prioritized list of target institutions and key contacts within the DACH region, leveraging our detailed persona research. This involves deep dives into market analysis and strategic lead generation.
- Implement the Sales & CRM Infrastructure: Design, set up, and manage a CRM system (e.g., using Airtable, HubSpot). This is a critical learning experience in RevOps, pipeline management, and data-driven commercial activities. You'll gain practical skills in system implementation and optimization.
- Develop Sales Enablement Materials: Create and refine impactful sales collateral, outreach email sequences, and demonstration scripts. This is a chance to hone your communication and marketing skills, tailoring messages to specific buyer personas (e.g., the overwhelmed TTO Manager, the strategic Corporate Scout, the data-driven VC Analyst).
- Analyze Early Market Feedback: Your work will directly contribute to our initial sales efforts β no sandbox here. You will analyze results from initial customer interactions, providing critical feedback to the product and founding team to refine our sales process. This offers invaluable experience in market validation and iterative product development.

- Go-To-Market Strategy: Learn about B2B SaaS sales models, early-stage market entry, customer segmentation and prioritization, and value proposition design for enterprise clients.
- Revenue Operations (RevOps): Gain hands-on experience in designing and implementing CRM systems, sales process mapping and automation, pipeline management, and commercial KPI development.
- B2B Sales & Marketing: Understand lead generation strategies, Account-Based Marketing (ABM) principles, persona-based communication, and sales cycle analysis in an enterprise context.
- Customer Relationship Management: Learn to map the complex B2B customer journey, manage long sales cycles, and build foundational relationships with cornerstone clients.
