Close collaboration with universities is a key success factor for SMEs. Strong partnerships between SMEs and universities enhance innovation by effectively transferring knowledge and technology, leading to positive spillover effects on corporate culture. Such collaborations also help mitigate the skills shortage by providing access to highly qualified academic personnel and presenting students with potential employers early on. Additionally, these partnerships positively influence economic indicators such as revenue and customer perception.

The Chair for Strategy and Organization is focused on research with impact. This means we do not want to repeat old ideas and base our research solely on the research people did 10 years ago. Instead, we currently research topics that will shape the future. We are always early in noticing trends, technologies, strategies, and organisations that shape the future, which has its ups and downs.
