💡 Background
The thesis develops a data analysis and statistical evaluation concept for portfolio and transaction data to identify systematic behavior patterns and relate them to outcomes (e.g., portfolio composition, performance, classification of investors). In parallel, it maps the existing literature and derives research questions and gaps that can be addressed with the available data and/or a later intervention (e.g., knowledge nudges).
Potential outcomes:
- Development of an analysis plan and code (data structure, key variables/metrics).
- Literature review on investor behavior, also identifying open research questions that can be addressed with the data set.
- Initial empirical evaluation on the dataset + a slide deck summarizing results and recommended next research steps.
