Stay respectful: Don’t make others feel uncomfortable, Exude confidence and adopt a positive attitude. Leaving others with positive feelings. People associate you with the feelings you produce in them. Avoid creating negative associations: don’t make them feel bad or wrong (Brigitte Academy, 2018; Cabane p. 112, 125).

Be competent Competence is the decisive factor when it comes to convincing people What counts for success is not so much the actual but the perceived competence (Nasher, 2017, p. 20).
Use the 6 Principles of Persuasion The best thing about them is that they are entirely inexpensive, unpressured, entirely honest and rarely employed (Cialdini, 2012).
