Career
Dr. Sebastian Brandis has over 14 years of operational experience in the Telecom & IT industry through sales, marketing, product management, IT, networks, Strategy & M&A. His work experience includes jobs at Booz Allen Hamilton and Viag Interkom/O2. From 2008 to 2011 he acted as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of BT Global Services. He now is executive manager for the start-up company e-shelter.
After studies of physics and philosophy at the University of Bonn and a master of philosophy in theoretical physics from Cambridge University, he earned a Phd in the same area at the University of Hamburg.
Dr. Brandis has been invited to speak in various conferences and has made publications in a number of books on key trends of the industry. He is married with 4 children and active in various music ensembles. At our chair, his teaching assignment includes the lecture on Electronic Markets.
