We are delighted that Thomas Bohné (University of Cambridge) got accepted as TUM Ambassador! Thomas shares a strong working relationship with Prof. Isabell Welpe and the Chair for Strategy and Organizations.

Short Bio: Prof. Thomas Bohné is the founder and Head of the Cyber-Human Lab at the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. Most recently he also led human-centred innovation for the UK Government’s EPSRC Made Smarter Innovation Research Centre. He maintains well-established ties with TUM: he has supervised +30 TUM theses and invited numerous TUM students as visiting researchers to Cambridge, fostering bilateral exchange. As Co-Lead of the World Economic Forum's Augmented Workforce Initiative, he has built one of the most visible platforms for human-centred technology transformation in industry, including live sessions from the factory floor to Davos. He furthermore brings demonstrably broad transfer and cross-sector experience as an angel investor and from consulting, investment banking, venture capital, and public policy, as well as international academic positions. As TUM Ambassador, he can provide first-rate access to the Cambridge ecosystem, the WEF network, and industry-related research communities, and strategically strengthen cooperation formats with TUM in key areas such as Human–AI Collaboration, and Augmented Work.
