The earlier the better. Due to the compound effect it is always better to start saving money and building wealth earlier.
Your mindset in regards to money is influenced by your parents. This is one reason why the poor and rich mindset are often passed on to the next generation.
First, educate yourself in money. Depending on your previously gained qualification, this can for example mean that you should make yourself familiar with common methods to build financial wealth (e.g. investing)
There is never the general right advise in investing. Depending on you risk preference, time horizon and investing sum, you should choose your investments wisely and according to your knowledge and experience. Never overestimate your competence at the markets - this can be expensive. For instance, if you are a beginner investor, you could start to invest into broadly diversified ETF funds. Also, start with moderate amounts to get a feeling how investing works.
